Why businesses switch

Service, responsiveness, and personal attention big-box PEOs canโ€™t match.

Many PEOs are built to serve thousands of companies at once. Optimum HR is built to serve yours, and three commitments define that difference.

A real person, every time

When you call Optimum HR, a real person answers, rather than an AI bot or a ticket number in a queue. Email responses average under two hours, so questions about payroll and benefits get an answer the same day.

Three reps with your name on them

Every client works with a dedicated benefits rep, a dedicated payroll rep, and a dedicated HR rep. These named specialists already know your account, so you reach people who understand your business rather than a shared support pool.

Simple pricing with no hidden fees

Optimum HR charges a flat per-employee rate (PEPM), published up front, with no bundled surprises. The fee stays steady as your team grows, rather than climbing like a percentage of payroll every time you give a raise.

The company I work for switched to Optimum less than a year ago and there has been nothing but up-sides since doing so. Everybody in the company is grateful for the benefits that Optimum provides such as Life Insurance and Dental, something that we've never had before. We are very grateful as well for the extra benefits, such as the Working Advantage discounts on movie theater tickets and theme park admissions. Whenever I have a question regarding payroll or benefits, Fabiola and Shaked have always been quick, patient, and kind in their responses, which is something that I'm very grateful for. All in all, we are very pleased with Optimum and everything they are doing for us.

Been using Optimum for over 10 years at my place of business. Great payroll solution for a small to medium sized business. They take care of payroll, taxes, on-boarding and many other HR needs so you can focus on your business.

Switching to Optimum about a year ago was one of the best decisions our company has made. Their team is incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful, making everything from payroll to HR much easier to manage. I highly recommend Optimum to any company looking for a reliable, professional PEO partner. A special thank you to Fabiola and Celeste, they have been exceptional to work with and consistently go above and beyond to provide outstanding support.

I am very pleased with the fast response with the optimum team (specially) with Ana Sakoda on taking care of the questions or events that I have come across. She's very prompt on taking care business.

Optimum HR has been an excellent partner for our company. Their team has provided strong support in payroll, HR, employee benefits, and compliance-related matters. They are responsive, professional, and always willing to help when questions come up. Having a dependable partner like Optimum HR has made a real difference for our business, and we truly value the support they provide. I would highly recommend them to any company looking for reliable HR and payroll services.

Optimum has been our payroll and HR partner for the last 12 years. They have grown and adapted alongside our business as we expanded and transitioned toward a more dispersed workforce. They eliminate the stress of managing payroll across multiple states and staying current with compliance regulations. Their team is very knowledgeable, friendly and happy to help!

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Optimum HR is built around your company size rather than a single industry. If you have between 5 and 250 employees, Optimum supports businesses across manufacturing, healthcare, real estate, professional services, wholesale, software, and more. The experience stays the same whether you work in a traditional field or a tech-forward one. See our Industries page for more information.

Yes. Optimum HR runs multistate payroll and compliance across all 50 states. Its deepest expertise sits with California-headquartered businesses, the most complex compliance environment in the country, and a multistate team is fully supported.

Optimum HR focuses on US-based teams. That focus is deliberate, because it keeps service personal and compliance expertise deep. If your workforce is entirely domestic, you get specialists who do nothing but US payroll, benefits, and HR.

Optimum HR charges a flat per-employee-per-month (PEPM) fee based on your needs. The rate is published and predictable, with no bundled or hidden fees for setup or off-cycle runs. Unlike a percentage-of-payroll model, your administrative cost does not climb every time you raise pay or hand out bonuses.

Yes. Every client is assigned a dedicated benefits rep, a payroll rep, and an HR rep. These are named people who know your account, rather than a shared pool you are routed to at random. It is the single biggest difference clients notice after leaving a large provider.

Email responses average under two hours, and when you call, a real person answers the phone. There are no queues, no ticket numbers, no AI voice bots, and no waiting days for a reply.
